In Loving Memory of
Heather & Matthew Lichtel

I still remember the phone call I got from Debby telling me that you and your brother had died in a car accident. I remember our conversation like it was yeaterday. I keep thinking why did this have to happen to you two. At 20 and 23 you both had so much to live for. You were two great people with full lives ahead of you.

Heather you were such a great friend I can't thank you enough for all the support you gave me last semester. You stuck with me when almost everyone else turned their backs on me. You took the time to listen to me and help me through the tough times. I was looking forward to bing roommates and having the chance to go skiing during the winter months. All that changed in the blink of an eye.

I haven't forgotten the night before we left school and I unknowingly said my last good bye to you. The last words to come out of my mouth were 'Have a good Thanksgiving and I will see you when we get back from break.' We exchanged good byes and I left. The next time I saw you I was writing my good bye on the outside of your coffin. I listened to the priest talk and the whole church cried when the priest stood between your coffin's, put one hand on each and said 'Matt and are home.' Your parents held up so well, but I knew that inside they were screaming for this nightmare to end. Maybe one day it will.

As for now may your bodies rest in peace, and your souls live forever. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Good bye for the last time.
